Yesterday went by in such a blur - you know why?! Because I was running around like the energizer bunny...let's rewind to Friday - I noticed it would be 70 degrees on Sunday, so my mother and I decided we would host a family barbeque for Easter since everybody wanted something different from the typical menu.
This meant a) I had to make my grandmother her triple layer lemon cake w/ lemon curd and lemon cream cheese frosting b) we had to develop a menu on the whim and go food shopping c) I had to straighten up the house (luckily it was already a cleaning week) from hurricane Pricey d) I had to decide if I was going to in fact do the Easter egg hunt for the kiddies e) I had to still go to my godbrother's Phillies themed 13th birthday party and f) I had to wait up for the Easter bunny to make his delivery (thank God I had put the baskets together for the most part on Thursday and just had to add finishing touches).
You know what drives me crazy?! Price tends to say hi to people while we are out shopping - I HATE when the adults simply look at him and do not say hi back - how rude can you be?! How much effort does it take to say hi to a baby?! Don't worry - I am not going to engage you in a full conversation because my nephew said hi. Sheesh!
Price loves Mickey, but he was moving a tad bit too fast for him |
But do we have to go to ANOTHER store?! |
Can't decide if I like the hat or not Auntie |
My Easter nails |
After a 3 hour nap, I am finally ready to party |
Love of my Life (with his bad self) |
Pricey and daddy |
He never wants to take pics with me. |
The Easter bunny came! |
He left this too |
Of course, I am doing the Easter egg hunt. Mochs & Gabi better not knock down Pricey! Thanks Uncle Troy for getting the supplies. |
