literally.
Second road trip of the summer...this time headed to AC to chill out for a few days.
Ben Franklin Bridge |
Ummmm yeah, Anrina gave me this bottle of wine to try and it fell when I was unloading my luggage. If it counts for anything, it smelled really good. |
If you know me, you know how I love a good shower - I could have stayed in there for hours on end - so relaxing. Now how am I expected to shower without that seat and adjustable water pressures?!
First stop was the boardwalk for some of the junk food I have been craving - you know FUNNEL CAKE!!! YUMMMMMMMMM!
It was such a clear and perfect night and I was enjoying my funnel cake on the boardwalk and then all of a sudden the skies opened up - and guess who did not have an umbrella?! Thank god I was wearing a blazer - oh and did I mention it was hailing too?! That was the longest walk back to the car and for the record - my jeans are still wet 3 days later!!! Imagine trudging through the casino, back to the room - fun times. :/

I woke up perfectly energized and ready to shop.
Shopping Fuel |
LOVE this bag |
I even decided to get adventurous and try some Indian Halal food - it wasn't bad - a tad bit spicy, but enjoyable (well the spoonfuls I ate - lol - did you think I was going to try a full platter?!).
And why didn't anyone tell me how delicious gelato is?!?!
What can I say?! |
Decided to try a new nail color - outside of pink, orange, and neutrals - I likey |
Happy Hour - I must admit I broke a cardinal rule - I could not finish my martini, it was way too strong. Sheesh. |
This was my first experience at The Melting Pot - and I must say I will return - we only went for dessert and wine - the ambiance and white chocolate was so divine. I will definitely be back.
Relaxing before an early check out - yes, I was at The Pool by 8am! |
Outside of the bipolar weather and other technical issues, I had an enjoyable time in AC - I feel like I need a vacay to recover though - but I will settle for my spa evening next Tuesday.
