Whelp, It's Monday...

again and instead of being stressed out from rude, disrespectful customers - I was home. Frantically trying to figure out my next step...let me rewind. Last Tuesday I was told my temporary job assignment was ending Thursday - there was no warning, no advanced notice - eekkkkk. I continued to apply for jobs while working, and obviously nothing bit and at that moment I felt like I was back to square one initially.

Headed to Work on My Last Day

Thursday at work was hard - I didn't expect everyone to be so upset that I was leaving - if I would have endured one more hug, I am positive I would have cried. It was nice to know everyone enjoyed working with me and I gave them an added "sparkle" with just my smile and demeanor. Their kind words did wonders for my spirit. I was also shocked to receive parting gifts. How sweet.

I definitely needed a drink after I got off - can you guess who I called?! My parents had tickets to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert and they were not going, so I called Jeannette. She is always game and last minute - I definitely needed the laughs, the margaritas, and the girl talk. Thanks Jeannette for always being there. <3

Look Who Got A Piece of the Cleaning Fun

That leads us back to today - I am not going to lie, I hid under my covers for a bit from the world while it went on around me (should I mention I have not had on nail polish since Friday?!)...until I went to pick up the kid from daycare - I then cooked dinner - and began my cleaning frenzy. If you know me, you know when I am trying to figure something out I clean...a lot. By the end of the day tomorrow, this house will be sparkling and I will be ready to get to work...just in time for the snow/rain storm.
