Rated X

Let's rewind back to Thursday, October 26. I was texting Kyle & Drea. They both had full game plans, meanwhile I was like ahhhh....I will get to it when I get to it. BUT I WILL get to it. And Drea responds: it's iPhone eve, come on son. The moment was finally here. We could pre-order our phones. YET I did NOT like the expected delivery times, so I refused to set an alarm. AND then I saw the apple app was actually down while everybody was pre-ordering. Uhhhh...yeah, I dove into my work instead of into ordering. Kyle and Drea were all set with their orders, and I was still using my abused 6s.

THEN their delivery day arrived. That's when I started to feel it. ESPECIALLY when they would send me animojis. The itch began, so I sent purchasing options to Andriece. She had to review these things for me and let me know final decisions.

It can never be easy right?! Apple was still estimating 3-4 weeks for delivery (did NOT work for me) and Sprint was telling me it could ship within 3 days BUT they gave me a range of 3 weeks. And this is all after being ON THE PHONE with Sprint for over 90 minutes while cooking dinner, RIGHT AFTER WORK. I wanted to scream...but finally the phones were ordered, I would have way more storage on my phone along with upgraded features, AND I was ultimately saving money with this purchase in regards to monthly plans AND more services provided by my network.

So then the wait began. And I was antsy. Imagine my squeal when not even 24 hours later I received an email my phones had shipped. That's right folks...ordered on a Monday, phone in hand by a Wednesday. BUT I could not immediately activate it because Price needed a pizza night with his father and I...and Khidr was sick, so of course I had to deliver Andriece's phone to her so she could activate it whenever she had a free moment.

Four and a half hours after delivery, I finally cracked the box open - and then after TWO hours, my phone was fully restored and working. We were in business...yet I was riding dirty. How are X and I supposed to leave the house and go out in the world without a case?! YET...I still cannot find a case I LOVE. X remains safely secure in Kate when I am in transit.

BUT we have an even bigger problem here guys. As I was texting the other night, Price came up behind me...and began reading my texts. AND asked me who was XYZ - since I was not talking to a a name familiar to him. His ability to read is a game changer. I will either have to censor my mouth OR there may just have to be delays in my replies OR I will have to get even craftier with my words. A small price to pay for him to experience something I love so much.

Now here's to my family & friends not breaking up with me due to all the animation coming to their phones. With emojis, gifs, digital touch, animojis, snaps, marco polos, AND social media - communicating has never been so much fun and I CANNOT BE STOPPED. You're welcome.
