Diving Between December's Covers

Time to get cozy with my final reads of 2019 - you ready?!

The Bridal Suite by Rochelle Alers
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We all know I am a sucker for a good book series. I happen to stalk the release dates of the next publication so I do not miss any character development. Such a nerd! The latest in the Innkeeper series did not disappoint. The Bridal Suite evoked a feeling similar to catching up with old friends over coffee. Yet is perfectly fine as a stand alone.

Pretty Revenge by Emily Liebert
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lord knows I am working hard on ridding myself of my petty gene. YET sometimes people need to learn by consequences being enforced, no?! Pray for me yall.

Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Do you know how excited I was when Tate had on a 49ers hoodie within the first 30 pages?! I am determined to find out which one of the authors is also rooting for my team.

BUT anyhow, my emotions ranged while reading this one. Betrayal for selfish gains has never been my jam.

Alone for the Holidays by Vivien Mayfair
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Catfish, anyone?! I had so many questions while reading this short holiday book, which did not allow me to enjoy it as much.

When Katie Met Cassidy by Camille Perri
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️
This is a read I went into blindly with the cover catching my eye. I also LOVED The Assistants by Perri, so I figured I would give this one a try. Maybe I became more stingy with my stars as the year progressed, but nevertheless...I could have left this one on the shelf.

Duty or Desire by Brenda Jackson
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have so many things to say about a certain theme of this book, but I am saving it for a bookstagram post. But remember what I said about series...Duty or Desire revisited the Westmoreland family.

Not Suitable for Work by Skye McDonald
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Uhhhh...I probably loved this one way more than I should have. HOWEVER, when you are exhausted from creating holiday magic you escape. This was definitely what I needed and I cannot wait to read the next one in this series.

A Merry Little Filthmas by Nicole Falls
Goodreads Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Do I even need to say more with this title?! A quick read that ended way too abruptly with no completion.
