Sprinkles Cupcakes is implementing a new idea that I think is just genius. A cupcake atm! Candace Nelson, the owner of Sprinkles, came up with the idea when she was pregnant and had sweet cravings after hours - when bakeries were closed. I guess she did not have the energy to go in the kitchen to whip up a batch.
They are testing these atms in Beverly Hills currently and are scouting for a New York location. My only concern is how fresh will these cupcakes be if I decided I NEED a cupcake at 3am after a late night out (since I have so many of those). It has to be worth the calories if I am going to indulge and a stale cupcake is just not my thing.
