Summer Reads 2017

With fall weather hovering, it is hard to believe today is Memorial Day - the unofficial start of summer.

And of course with my planning, I had to pinpoint what books I wanted to dive into this season.

Even though my reading pace has considerably slowed down this year, I am hoping to steal moments where I can get lost between the covers of these books:

Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It - Charlamagne The God
New York, Actually - Sarah Morgan
The Thing About Love - Julie James
Finding Gideon - Eric Jerome Dickey
Scrappy Little Nobody - Anna Kendrick
One Good Thing - Wendy Wax
Secrets in Summer - Nancy Thayer
Same Beach, Next Year - Dorothea Benton Frank
The Inheritance - Rochelle Alers
Always - Sarah Jio
I'm Judging You - Luvvie Ajayi
The Identicals - Elin Hilderbrand
The Sunshine Sisters - Jane Green
A Blessing & A Curse - ReShonda Tate Billingsley & Victoria Christopher Murray
Seeking Sarah - ReShonda Tate Billingsley
Chasing Down a Dream - Beverly Jenkins
Sin of a Woman - Kimberla Lawson Roby
The One I've Waited For - Mary B. Morrison
A House Divided - Donna Hill
Guilty Pleasure - Brenda Jackson
Locked in Temptation - Brenda Jackson
In This Moment - Karma Brown
Small Victories: Spotting Improbable Moments of Grace - Anne Lamott
Big Magic - Elizabeth Gilbert

This year let's toast to temps finally rising in Philadelphia, sun kissed & glowing skin, tousled beach waves, infectious giggles, dining al fresco, bottomless brunches, road trips with full out karaoke sessions, lounging poolside & on beaches, creating new opportunities, moments that take our breaths away, and open hearts.

Buckle up...here goes nothing.
