With all this spare time, has anybody read anything good lately?! I for one cannot focus on a book longer than 2 chapters...but more on that later. Let's dive between March's covers...

Alexa Martin's The Playbook series is perfect for a football fanatic like myself. She has been building up to Brynn & Maxwell's story and let's just say it was a perfect 3rd quarter score.
Truth be told the concept of Brynn's neighborhood spot, Hers, is genius. I would love to have a women centric sports bar that also aired popular shows in our demographic when games weren't on.
I also had a bonding moment with Brynn as I read this...because you know, I thought I was an island until I read this: My dad always makes fun of me because I dont know how to throw up. I strain my face. And after I've been sick, I'm a splotchy mess because I have, quite literally, burst the blood vessels in my face. SAME GIRL, SAME!

Want to know the bane of every social media manager's existence?! I am glad you asked...
✅Always walking a thin line between your integrity and others' expectations of the work you should be doing
✅Peers not understanding effective strategic approaches in regards to what works on social media. *SPOILER ALERT* Engagement is the name of the game.
✅Actual workload/time spent creating being minimized as if you don't spend hours brainstorming against existing insights. Oh I forgot! It's magic.
✅Never really having a day off
The list could go on, but just know Emma Lord gets it. We all need to stick together and remember to Tweet Cute.
You Were There Too by Colleen Oakley

Are you interested in indulging in an emotional merry-go-round unsure of what to root for from beginning to end of a book?! Then this one is for you. Shockingly I made up my mind and then it was all ripped from me in an instant. AND let me tell you - I would definitely ride this again to see where these characters end up in 5 years.
Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey

Some days you need to indulge in a steamy read. Dom & Rosie were en fuego as they learned how to communicate effectively using the appropriate love languages with each other. Intent means nothing if it isn't understood and received, right?!
What You Wish For by Katherine Center

Another month, another ARC from NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. I am thankful I did not have to wait until July 14 (do you know what day that is?!) for this book's release. Why the anticipation you ask?! It's simple. I have not met a Katherine Center book that did not make me take pause to reflect on the lessons being taught.
Full disclosure, since I read this at a heightened time in our country, I was easily triggered as I read this and found myself closing it at times. HOWEVER, it made me become centered to focus on things I often overlook. It pushed me to pay attention to the things that connect me with joy and to force myself to exhibit more grace in life.
Kudos to Katherine for always knowing what is most important in this thing called life.
